Everything looked right.Ī couple things I noticed. I checked power to all the boards, AC voltages into and out of the transformer.
#Deskcnc com port issue driver
The blue LED on the controller board is solid on as well as the orange LED on each of the driver boards. I tried pressing the e-stop and pause buttons but nothing happens. When I press on any of the jog buttons, almost all buttons get grayed out except for the e-stop and pause buttons. When I go into Machine Mode (deskcnc does not start up in this mode), all buttons are available. When I save the file it always says 'Command Timedout', and then it tries to find the controller again (looks like it searches com ports 1 through 4) and it says controller not detected. Went into deskcnc.ini and manually changed the com port from port 1 to port 2 and back again, still nothing.Īfter turing on the controller box and starting deskCNC I went into machine setup and selected the comport. Did this multiple times with no success.Ĭhanged the com port from port 1 to port 2 on the back of the PC, still nothing. Rebooted PC, turned on controller, started deskCNC. I then powered up my controller box by pressing the enable button, it came up just fine, but deskCNC could not find the controller anymore. I waited 10 seconds or so, and as they approached the machine limitis, I hit my e-stop button (which is wired to a SSR and disconnects the transfomer). The X axis was going left, the Y axis was moving towards the back, and the Z axis was moving down. Right after that, all three motors starting turning at the same time. It immediately came up and found the controller (I was happy). When it finished booting, I turned on my controller box, and then I started deskCNC. I just finished wiring my rollaround milling station and finally hooked up my controller to the motors. IMService Discussion Forum: Controller not detected problem.
